ARGENTINA - BARILOCHE Cerro Tronador - enjoying summer / Cerro Tronador - aproveitando o verão

ENGLISH - It is hard to choose when to go to Bariloche. This city, located inside the Nahuel Huapi National Park is different in winter and summer. It is probably more visited during July and August* - when the cold weather and snow brings the ski season and other winter sports. We decided to explore what only summer could provide: access to the incredible nature of the north of Patagonia and Bariloche is the best departuring point for all the adventures this part of the world can offer.

After a long research we decided what to do in our week - it was not easy at all. We would like to see lakes, mountains, national parks, islands and of course enjoy the best of the local cousine, wines and homemade beers. One of the top things we had the opportunity to see in this trip was the Black Glacier at Cerro Tronador, by the way, a place almost impossible to reach during winter.

The Black Glacier is a mix of earth and rocks from landslides accumulated over the years. A lot of layers of dark brown ice seeing from a certain distance appears to be black, what originated the name in the first place. The Black Glacier in Cerro Tronador is one of that places that no photograph will be able to show the beauty we experience once there. If you don't have many days in Bariloche and need to choose among so many tours option consider this one - it worths every minute!

*In the southern Hemisphere winter is from June to September, the opposite of the northern, from December to March.

PORTUGUÊS - É difícil escolher quando ir a Bariloche. Esta cidade, localizada dentro do Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi é diferente no inverno e no verão. Provavelmente é mais visitada durante julho e agosto* - quando o clima frio e a neve trazem a estação de esqui e outros esportes de inverno. Nós decidimos explorar o que apenas o verão poderia proporcionar: acesso a incrível natureza do norte da Patagônia e Bariloche é o melhor ponto de partida para todas as aventuras que esta parte do mundo oferece.

Depois de uma longa pesquisa nós decidimos o que fazer em uma semana - não foi nada fácil. Nós gostaríamos de ver lagos, montanhnas, parques nacionais, ilhas e, claro, aproveitar o melhor da culinária local, vinhos e cervejas artesanais. Uma das coisas incríveis que tivemos a oportunidade de ver nesta viagem foi o Glaciar Negro no Cerro Tronador, aliás, um lugar quase impossível de chegar durante o inverno.

O Glaciar Negro é um mix de terra e rochas de deslizamentos acumulados ao longo dos anos. Muitas camadas de gelo marrom escuro visto de certa distância parece negro, o que originou o nome em primeiro lugar. O Glaciar Negro no Cerro Tronador é um daqueles lugares em que nenhuma fotografia será capaz de mostrar toda a beleza nós conseguimos experimentar uma vez lá. Se você não tiver muitos dias em Bariloche e precisa escolher entre tantas opções de passeios considere esta - vale cada minuto!

*No Hemisfério Sul o inverno é de junho a setembro, o oposto do norte, de dezembro a março.
