Because of its position on the Atlantic Ocean, considered one of the best anchorages of the Moroccan coast, Essaouira has been an important trading post since the 5th century BC.

After so many different peoples, cultures and religions today, it is a time for the tourists discover and admire the colours, the charm and the food of this place. Letícia Lopes is coming back from Essaouira with a lot of great pictures to share her impressions. According to Letícia: "I liked the scenery. The city is all walled, cars are not allowed and the food is great too"
