Designed by A.Page Brown in 1892 with influence of the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, has a clock tower designed after the 12th-century Giralda bell tower in Seville, Spain. The building opened to the public in 1898 survived both 1906 and 1989 earthquaques with little damage.
