PORTUGAL - DOURO VALLEY

The Douro Valley in Portugal is the oldest region in Europe producing grapes and wines. Today, this long tradition of viticulture brings tourists from all over the world to taste the famous Port wine and enjoy the beauty of the lanscapes.

Looking at the Douro River you realize that this place could easily be called the enchanted valley. When we started the first researches about this trip we decided to book a rural hotel. In the end, it was the best option to wake up in the morning and open our window - just magic! In October, the harvest is already over and you can appreciate the river and all the colours of the fall.

Olhando para o Rio Douro você percebe que este lugar poderia facilmente ser chamado de vale encantado. Quando nós começamos nossas primeiras pesquisas sobre esta viagem decidimos reservar um hotel rural. No fim, foi a melhor opção acordar de manhã e abrir nossa janela - simplesmente mágico! Em outubro, a colheita já terminou e você pode admirar o rio e todas as cores do outono.
